Best baseball management game

The MLB license is the icing on the cake with OOTP 16. The developers have added a ton of great new features, including new owner goals (now you have specific short- and long-term goals to meet, if you want to keep your job and get your contract renewed), a new managers and coaches system (they have more speciic preferences now, and the manager will tell you “hands off” certain team strategies if you play in GM-only mode), 2015 Opening Day rosters, a new manager-only mode, Hall of Fame and All-Star Game voting, rain-outs, and much, much more.

If you’ve ever wanted to just run a baseball team and make all the decisions, this is the game for you. You can trade players, sign free agents, negotiate contract extensions, oversee your farm system, run the June draft, cal the shots from the dugout, and much more. You can also go back in time to 1871 and play forward through baseball history, as well as create all kinds of cool fictional leagues. (Tolkien baseball, anyone? That’s an actual OOTP online league.)
